Your account

You must be at least 13 years old. Keep your password and recovery code private. You are responsible for what is posted from your account.

What you publish

You keep the copyright in your writing. By submitting it you license it to everyone under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0, so others can read, share and build on it with credit.

Once an entry is sealed into a world's chain it is permanent and public. Before submitting, make sure you are happy for it to stay.

Only submit work you wrote yourself, together with public-domain source material. Do not copy from modern books, films, television or games.

Conduct

Follow the community charter. Stewards may hide entries, remove reviews, or close accounts that break it, including for harassment, hate, plagiarism, spam or sexual content involving minors.

No warranty

Shared Myth is provided as it is, without guarantees of availability. We will try hard to keep the canon safe and verifiable, but we cannot promise the service will run forever. Because every entry is licensed CC BY-SA, the community can always carry the worlds elsewhere.

Not affiliated

Shared Myth is not affiliated with any author's estate, publisher, studio or game company. Names of works are used only to describe their public-domain sources.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will announce it on the home page before it takes effect.
